Rami Abi Sleiman is the Regional Director Middle East, Africa & Russia at AbbVie. In his more than 15 years of experience, he has worked on developing and executing plans in complex, fast-paced, regulated environments. Rami is currently the Regional HRD Middle East, Africa and Russia at AbbVie Biopharmaceutical.

In his previous role, Rami was the HR Director for Majid Al Futtaim Shopping Malls where he oversaw the design and execution of the Human Capital strategy for Middle East and North Africa. Rami also led the talent management agenda focusing on critical roles of C-suite executives.

Rami had an early career in banking with Standard Chartered where he worked internally across different business units, leading transformation, change management as well as business partnering.

Rami also had an extensive experience leading organization design, workforce strategy, total rewards, learning, talent acquisition, global mobility, employee engagement, and global cross-functional teams to achieve goals.

Rami has a Bachelor of Science in International Economics from the Lebanese American University (Lebanon) and a certificate in HR Analytics from Cornell University. He is also a Chartered member of the CIPD and a Certified Assessor
