Meenakshi Doomjy, a human resource professional with hands on experience in multiple sectors. She holds a Diploma in Sanitary Science from the University of Mauritius and two Diplomas in Human Resources Management, Business Management as well as a Mini-MBA from International Business Management Institute (Germany) and currently completing her Master of Business Administration at the University of Technology Mauritius. She is a member of the Mauritius Association of Human Resources Professional as well as a member of the Board of Good in Mauritius.

Her professional journey started in the Automobile industry followed by the Hospitality sector during which she worked for two known International Hotel brands. In June 2016, Meenakshi joined the hotels’ cluster of Trimetys Group as Human Resources Manager and subsequently she was promoted to the position of Group Human Resources Manager in November 2016. Working six years at the corporate level, she crafted the Human Resources Department to meet the evolving needs of existing talents thereby attracting new talents to the organization. Within the six years, the focus was to transform best practices in human resources and cultures towards achieving the ambitious goals of the group. Today, she is proud that she was able to create synergies within the group hence building cheerful teams within two geographical regions Mauritius and Rodrigues Island. It is worth highlighting that the fight for talent is won by those businesses who put people at the heart of their activities.

“From good to great!”
The idea of setting up her own start-up was in her plans, but the post pandemic accelerated this move. She therefore made it happen by targeting mainly Small & Medium Enterprises to meet their human resources needs. Her main goal was to provide consultancy services in terms of human resources planning, talent development, turning best practices into processes and creating the culture of putting people first.

However, after a year, she got the opportunity to lead the human resources function at FRCI, one of Mauritius’s leading companies in IT development, implementation, and operations. FRCI was founded as an IT Training provider and grew into a multifaced IT services provider applying the latest advances in technology to make software development, business processes and communication significantly more effective both locally and internationally. Being in technology today is an added value to her career.

Over the last years, Meenakshi received awards for Mauritius Best Employer Brand, 501 Fabulous Global Leaders and HR Leadership.
